Matilda “Tillie” was born in August 2016. She is an F1B Standard Labradoodle (3/4 Poodle and 1/4 Labrador.) She is 24 1/2 inches at the shoulder and weighs 50 pounds. She is a Chocolate. She grows a long wavy to curly coat (the shorter, the curlier) which is deep chocolate with lovely golden highlights. Her hair is curly and soft, she has great furnishings and is IC clear. Her beautiful blonde highlights show off her adorable face!
Waltzing Matilda is our first doodle. So, she holds a special place in my heart. She “plays well with others” both canine and human as long as she is winning. But she definitely has a competitive streak and likes to be the leader of the pack. She is very intelligent and shows her confidence when she is playing with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and “keep away” with us and her doggy friends. She learns quickly in her puppy training classes and we have started some agility training (for fun). Matilda picks up challenges easily. She is equally happy sitting next to us with her head on my lap at coffee time! She is especially fond of car rides and will not pass up a chance to get in the car or truck.
Her OFA is Good for hips and Elbows. Her DNA tests show her to be clear for all testable inheritable issues.
So far Matilda has given us two nice litters of chocolate labradoodles and a special litter of Irish Wolfoodles. It has been our pleasure to see how Matilda’s puppies have grown!
